Who Are We?

Uncle Joe's is a family run Texas Steakhouse Restaurant, run by owner "Uncle" Joe Austin (pictured, right), based in the heart of the trendy, metropolitan Riverwalk.

The Riverwalk is a network of idyllic walkways along the banks of the San Antonio River, one story beneath downtown San Antonio, Texas. The Riverwalk is lined by bars, shops and we are positioned right in the middle of this exciting development, The Riverwalk is an important part of the city's urban fabric and a tourist attraction in its own right.

Specialising in traditional Texas cuisine, we are state famous for our delicious Mesquite-Fired Steaks which you can browse through in our extensive Menu; prepared cooked to order by the Restaurant's Head Chef Bonnie Austin, Joe's wife of some 25 years, you can be safe in the knowledge that our food is of the highest order and is in the safest of hands.

But Steaks aren't the only feather in our bow, we have gorgeous fresh Fish dishes including Lobster, which is available for you to pick yourself from our in-Restaurant tank and the finest Trout for miles. If you aren't particularly hungry then why not order a Beverage from our well-stocked bar and perhaps order one of our tempting Texas Teasers, such as BBQ Chicken Wings or Nachos of various varieties.

For those with a sweet tooth you won't be disappointed with our luxury sweet deserts and we have everything from our special Jack Daniels Pie, made with the famous brand of old Tennessee Whiskey to a sublime B-Bar-A Brownie.
