My interest in both designing and building websites for the World Wide Web (WWW) and Interactive Media began eight years ago when a former secondary school teacher introduced me to this constantly evolving subject, whilst I was working towards my General National Vocational Qualification – GNVQ – in Information and Communication Technology.
The buzz of creating something unique to the exact specification given to you by either a customer or tutor, that can be uploaded to the Internet and be viewed/used by potentially millions of people is a wonderful feeling when done correctly and it is what has driven me to gather as much knowledge and skills relating to the web and Interactive Media industry as I possibly can in order to work in the field in some capacity following the completion of my education.

UNIVERSITY OF WOLVERHAMPTON (2006-2010)
University of Wolverhampton, Wulfruna Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1SB.
- BA(Hons) Interactive Media
After spending a year working towards a BSc (Hons) Web Computing degree, where I learnt programming, operating systems, networks, computer architecture, web development, databases, and computational methods, despite enjoying the course, passing all of my modules with good grades and gaining invaluable programming skills I was informed that the design modules which had been advertised to be part of my degree and had pulled me in to the course in the first place had been removed from the syllabus; I felt that my skills would be better suited to a more 'design' based web development approach, which I felt would put me in a better position to become a web designer.
After careful deliberation I changed degrees to my current course where I am now specialising in interface and interaction design, image composition, web design and development, digital sound, streaming media, as well as critical and creative thinking. This degree is in progress.

- A-Level Modern History
My Media Studies course improved my designing skills, which are important in pre web design and I achieved this during the production of a short film I made in a practical module in the college Apple Mac suite, gaining 98/100 (A*).
Modern History aided my analytical and evaluative skills, which are vital in post web design and The Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education – AVCE – in Information and Communication Technology I studied offered me the opportunity to be once again reunited with a web design module, which cemented my decision to continue with the subject at University, I achieved 99/100 (A*) at this module.
